i have nothing to write. i am barely awake now, and yet i thought to write an entry in my blog. what am i thinking? well, actually i aam thinking of nothing. i just want to make my mind tired. will this work i wonder? trying to tire my brain by typing down things that i am not actively thinking about even. maybe i am thinking about spelling and such, but thats basically muscle memory. or something. do they call it brain memory? or finger memory? or eye memory? well whatever they call it, that’s what i am doing. not hinking and relying on my “something” memory to write about something. will i get sleepy doing this? it’s like tiring yourself out by riding a cab. in a limited sennse it is tiring but not enough. maybe i should just try to answer some of my old algebra books. those never failed to make me sleepy. hope they work still…

i am writing this blog now, without inasmuch as an iota of thought to write about. have i run out of ideas? or am i just having a blank day? don’t you hate it when you have a blank day? its when you draw a blank in everything you do. sometimes in the middle of a conversation, you just stare into space because nothing registers. thats a blank day. much like what i am having now. a blank day. i hat blank days. it makes me feel insignificant. i wonder how professional writers do it? having to find something to write about day in day out? is this what they do? maybe they start out writing pure drivel then eventually thought takes form and they just hammer out a cohesive statement out of whatever hint of idea they think of? am i making sense? i feel i am not. o well. this is my blog anyway. if you huys have something better to say, write your own blog.

another blog, another bout of insanity induced inanities. i have no idea what to write about so here i am just writing whatever pops out my head or whatever my fingers type. whichever registers first. i had a shitty day, but not really. basically it was just because of work. i hate work. i hate my co-worker who always steals my pens and acts dumb even though i catch him red handed. i hate a lot of things. but i love a lot too. does this even things out? i love to eat, but only when i am hungry. i have a question, would you rather eat when you’re hungry or take a dump when you really need to go? i find taking a dump when it really matter much more satisfying and relaxing. i feel it feels better to take a load off rather than taking a load in. get what i am saying? i may not make sense to some, but i know a lot you guys out there know exactly what i mean. but ir’s all good.

i was culling out some of my old school papers and notebooks when i chanced upon a song i wrote way back in high school. some may get offended and i apologize in advance. this was wasy back when i didn’t know better. this was sung to the tune of “if i had a hammer.” it goes like this: “i was walking down the corridor in school one day, when i saw a couple of guys they were heading my way. i asked real nice, hey fellows what’s up? and one of them just said, oh quit it you will ruin my makeup. it was then i realized that these people weren’t guys so i took out my gun and shot them right between the eyes oh yeah! if i had a hammer, i’d kill all the fags. i’d kill all the queers, i’d kill all the m*****f*****, c***s******, sons of b****** here… ” there you have it. very sexist i know. but i was young and brash then. besides, the last laugh is on me. cause i came out the closet 2 years ago.

just when i thought i was gonna have another boring day, then i hear news of my friend elmer. elmer was a childhood friend of mine who has always been the practical joker in the group. and never fails, he always makes me laugh. no matter how grave the situation is. once, when i was grieving the death of my pet cat, he went and danced a crazy dance that made milk spurt out of my nose! wetting him! he ended up borrowing a cap of mine and saying he will never return it just to spite me! it was one of those ‘you should’ve been there’ moments. for years we were together and for years he didn’t return my cap laughing as he did so, and so did i. i can’t tell how much i missed his jokes and antics when he went and joined the navy. even serving in iraq. i bet he became the company’s clown. a long time since i last saw him, and here i am about to visit him again. he died last week serving his country. thoughts of his practical jokes overcame me and saw me weeping his demise. thinking i never thought elmer would make me cry rather than laugh. but in the end, he knew how to cheer me up. for when i looked in his casket, there he was wearing my cap. and i could swear he was wearing a smirk on his face then. rest in peace friend. i love you.

i am a man. i love cars, i love women, i love sports, i love rock. but i also love to wear pink, use facial creams, and (embarrasingly) chick flicks. do these make me less of a man? some may say yes, others would say i am a metrosexual, while others may flat out say i am a queer. before you be a judge too, i was a linebacker in college for 2 years, and played college hoops for another 2 years. i am 6′2 and weigh 267 lbs. does that seem gay? some would say no, when they are in front of me, but when i mention those “gay” traits that i like not in person, people would say yes. i am gay. but i don’t care. i believe i am a metrosexual. i love women, but i have some feminine likes, though i never am attracted to males. weird i know. it’s a good thing they invented the word metrosexual then lest i be labelled a freak.

you know something that i have always regretted not doing? staying in a dorm during my college days. i live close to where i studied see, maybe about a 15 minute drive. so staying in a dorm would be somewhat of an excess. but whenever i visit my friends in their dorms, we always party and i always leave to go home with a tinge of envy. no, more than a tinge but a tidal wave of envy! although i do understand that trying to study in a dormitory ambience would be a difficult task, it would still be worth it. besides, if you really would want to study, you will find a way, no matter where you are. like when i was at home, sure there was mo parties, but my brotheres and sister would always raise hell and studying was something of a luxury! but i always found a way. maybe that’s one of the reasons why i regret not staying in a dorm, no siblings to make your life miserable! hehe… how i wish i did stay in dorm…

Cooking

I grilled some steak and baked some potatoes. I think that Americans do this usually when they have visitors while I enjoy cooking and eating alone. I also bought a bottle of red wine but I did not have a cork screw and I could not open it. What a silly thing to do right?

I tried pushing the cork down but I just couldn’t. Anyway I still enjoyed my supper but there was something missing in my steak. I can’t quite figure out what it was but I plan to prepare another wonderful dinner and hope that it will be better.

Lately I have been enjoying the simple pleasures of life and not take things for granted. I also bought a few boxes of fresh milk which I only began to appreciate just recently. I love cooking my own dinner and perhaps one day I will have a visitor that can appreciate my culinary skills.

I went to the mall just to keep my mind off things. I bought some DVDs nice movies like Jurassic Park, Star Wars and a comedy I have not heard of entitled Office Space.

Since I have seen Jurassic Park and Star Wars, I decided to watch office space one night and it was very funny. It is about a guy who hates his job and started not to care anymore then gets promoted. After watching Office Space, I opened a bottle of wine and watched Star Wars.

I remember as a child that I did not like Star Wars but now I want to watch it over and over again. Next time I will find all those Vietnam war movies and buy if not DVDs, I’ll get VCDs. VCDs are cheaper but there is a wider selection of DVDs. Falling asleep while watching is the best way to sleep I think.
